AFMC :: Armed Forced Medical College - Screening Process & Admission

Hello Friends,

My today's topic is about the Armed Forced Medical Colleges Screening Process & Admission guide. After qualifying the NEET UG Exam , the next step to follow is to participate in AFMC Screening round to get admission.In this topic i will explain all screening process & steps one by one in details.





AFMC Screening process is basically divided in 5 parts ,as mentioned below.
Screening Process ::The various stages of screening will be as follows:- 

1. Verification of documents 
2. Test of English Language Comprehension, Logic & Reasoning (ToELR) 
3. Psychological Assessment Test (PAT) 
4. Interview 
5. Medical Examination 

1. Verification Of Documents :: Following documents must produced with self attested copy on the day of screening round. so you need to keep all these documents in original as well as with attested photo copy.
1. Matriculation Pass certificate 
2. Birth Certificate. 
3.Mark sheets of 10th 
4. Mark sheets 10+2. 
5. Certificate of Extracurricular activities and level of representation. 
6.Character Certificate duly signed by School/ College Principal. 
7. Colored photograph of candidate with white background: 16 passport size & 16 stamp size.
8. AFMC registration slip. 
9. NEET UG admit card. 
10. Aadhar card.
11. Certificate from school principal that so you appeared / awaiting 10+2 examination as a regular candidate.
12. SC/ST Certificates
13. Retired Ex serviceman certificates .
14.Sports certificate(if any)
15.Certificate for medical fitness. 
16. NCC Certificate (if any).

2. ToELR Test :: ToELR Test is basically represent to  "Test of English Language Comprehension, Logic & Reasoning". Which is basically simple English language question , level of question are same as 10th /10+2th . so you need not to worry about this test. reasoning question asked are very simple to solve . you can easily solve these question. you may bring a reasoning book to practice some reasoning topics asked in exam.
ToELR Test is basically Computer Based Test [CBT].

Marks obtained in ToELR Test will be added to NEET UG score. like Max Marks for NEET UG is 720 and for ToELR max marks is total 80 . then total marks will be 720+80=800 . total marks will be divided by 4 means 800/4=200. that means your final admission will be made by the marks you scored out off 200.

3. PAT Test ;; Psychological assessment is a process of testing that uses a combination of techniques to help arrive at some hypotheses about a person and their behavior. These types of question asked in AFMC. the goal of these type of test is to know about mental ability, and how you can psychologically predict the behavior with some techniques.

4. Interview :: Most important round in AFMC Is your interview round. This round is conducted by the Board of Officers. The aim of this round is to check your real time knowledge, and how much you aware about the subject you are trying to study for. like they can ask type of questions given below.

3. About AFMC
4. About Medical Development 
5. About Subject PCB.

5. Medical Fitness Round 

This Round Is Very important for you , if you wish to join AFMC, PUNE.As you must be medically fit before joining the course. failing to this round may bring you out of the AFMC Admission race. There are various criteria for medical fitness round. Medical Fitness round is conducted by Medical Board.
1. There should be no sign of functional / organic disease
2. There should be no digestive disease.
3. No-TB
4. No- Hernia Or Hydrocele [If Operated The Condition for eligibility]
5. No- Fistula/Piles
6. No- Kidney Disease
7. No-Skin Disease
8.No- STD/HIV
9. There is no squint or any other morbid condition of the eye and eyelids.
10. NO-active trachoma
11. No-enlarged glands

Service Bond :: At the time of admission parents/guardians of the candidates are required to sign a bond agreement for Rs 29,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Nine Lakhs only). Any candidate withdrawing from the college after 7 days of admission will have to pay Bond Money as per existing rules.

My Today's topic is about ALL INDIA PRE VETERINARY TEST courses in india & there scopes.This field is basically belong to the animals medical treatment. There are basically two types of AIPVT Courses.




Veterinary Council Of India :: VETERINARY COUNCIL OF INDIA Is statutory  body under Ministry of Agriculture GOVERNMENT of India. VCI is responsible to conduct all India quota counseling for the candidates who qualified  in exam.

Exam For Veterinary Courses :: From year 2017 onward veterinary council of India is the responsible  authority to conduct counseling for the candidates who appeared  for NEET Exam .So For 15% All India Quota Counselling NEET exam is mandatory,  so you must participate in NEET exam to get admission on veterinary  courses.so based on your NEET Score and merit you will be allotted colleges. This process just like the same as MCC Is conducting 15% All India Quota counseling for Government medical colleges. So if you want good veterinary colleges through 15% Aiq ,Your NEET Score must be around  460-470+.Some states conducted there CET For Veterinary Courses In India.

1. Bachelor Of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc) ::
The first field is known as BVSc . This course is basically  an undergraduate  course.Course duration is approx 5 year including 6 months of compulsory Internship.Whole course is divided in 2 semester per year. So it could be total 10 semesters for whole course.This field is all about the study of the medical treatment  plan for various animals like, Dog, Horse, Cat &Other Pet Animals. 

Job Opportunities :: If you completed your bvsc degree, then you will get the degree of animal doctor.in which there are various field specialists like Surgeon,  General  Physician,Ortho &, Many more.

Animal Husbandry (A.H) ::



 Animal Husbandry  is also the part of veterinary courses in India. Under animals  husbandry course you will get the opportunity  to study , how the Production can be increased  . Like the production goat,sheep & milk production.

Best Books For Pre Medical (NEET/AIIMS) Prepration

Hello Friends,

My today's topic is about the study material for the Preparation of NEET Examination. In this topic I will explain about types of study materials as well as books .



                   Types Of Materials

Books Required  :: If You had started your NEET preparation,  then you must have some important  books , Which is based on the syllabus of NEET. As you know Syllabus for NEET is Purely NCERT Based. Important point is the you must be focused  on your 11th/12th study with strong basic idea of all subjects like Physics Chemistry, Biology.

Physics  :: For physics  you need to require collection of book. But you must be selective while you are purchasing study material  for NEET. Some books list is given below.

1. NCERT 11th Physics
2. NCERT 12th Physics
3. HC Verma Vol 1
4. HC Verma Vol 2

Chemistry  :: In NEET chemistry  is scoring subject, even you can score full MARKS in chemistry. There are different  types of materials required for chemistry,  chemistry is basically decided  into there parts with all most equal vintage.

1. NCERT 11th Chemistry
2. NCERT 12th Chemistry

For chemistry  you need to take care of more books, rather then focus on basics in class 11th & class 12th NCERT books.

Biology  :: Biology is the main scoring and easy subject  in NEET. You need to be very regular with your study , if you want to score  maximum in Biology, your learning power must be good, because all the questions asked in NEET from biology is therotical & objective.

These two books is more then sufficient to score good in Biology.

Previous Test Paper :: You must have the collection of Last 20 years  question  paper , while you are preparing for NEET. last 20 years question papers is most important part of any exam.

Mock Test Paper  :: For NEET Preparation  you must practice  mock test paper as many as possible,  it will Improve  your power to solve the questions  effectively and with Accuracy.

MTG Series  :: MTG is One of the best series for preparation. As type of questions in MTG are matched with the type of questions asked in NEET EXAM. so you must have MTG series for all subject physics,  chemistry, biology. 


Materials Mentioned  above are very useful for the candidates appeared in past. By using these materials candidates scored maximum in NEET .never try to collect more & more books . Always  Focus on basic books like NCERT Syllabus  Book.
